Bible Memory Verse

for quiz 5/21
James 3:13

"Who is wise and understanding among you?  Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom."

for quiz 5/14
James 1:2-4

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. "

for quiz 5/7

"But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises."  Hebrews 8:6

for quiz 4/9

"For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."  Psalm 103:11-12

for quiz 3/26

With Spiritual Emphasis week, we're taking 2 weeks on the books of Timothy.  For the memory verse this week:
Your child CHOSE a Bible verse of his/her own.  Each student was encouraged to pick a verse that they felt they wanted to memorize.

for quiz 3/19:

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people." 1Timothy 2:5-6

for quiz 3/12:

Your child CHOSE a Bible verse of his/her own.  Each student was encouraged to pick a verse that they felt they wanted to memorize.  (and no one was allowed to choose "Jesus wept."!)
I hope you find their verse stapled into their planner as instructed.

for quiz 3/5:

"God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives.  Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you."
1 Thessalonians 4:7-8

for quiz 2/26:

"For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding."
Colossians 1:9
