"The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.  My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."
John 10:10 NLT

Blessings in Christ be yours!

I think I'm not the only one to be glad to get things back to normal after testing last week.  Math and History will procede as usual, although we had a little fun with some math review.

Tutoring this week will be for anyone with Math questions until 4 pm.

Also, the "notebook" for A Father's Promise is due on Wednesday.  We spent a considerable amount of time on it in class, so there shouldn't be too much to do.  There will be a quiz including many, but not all, of the 22 vocabulary words.  For review, check:

(the last one on the list says "Father's Promise")

Have a Christ-centered week and share His love!
Blessings!

Don't forget Terra Nova testing this week!  We start first thing Monday morning.  As Mrs. Stewart has already said, please make sure your child is on time, has had a good breakfast, and adequate rest.

The only homework this week will be reading in My Father's Promise.

Have a great week!

It's exciting to see the students engaged so deeply during Reading class as we've begun A Father's Promise.  Be sure to ask your child about what we've been reading in class.  You'll find it a precious time to be reading together too!

Spring fever has hit for sure, so let's make sure we partner together to keep our children engaged and doing their very best .  We want to finish strong!

"What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord!"  Psalm 84:5

Welcome back!  I trust you and your family enjoyed some time off this past week.

It's time to hit the next 9 weeks and finish strong!  If we commit our plans to the Lord, we WILL succeed! (Proverbs 16:3)

Academically, I'm stressing that students take their time in their arithmetic, READ more often, and keep up with a little History each day or at least every other.  Also, states with their capitals should be memorized; we've been working months in class!

It might be a good time to review the handbook with your child and encourage them that we'll work as unto the Lord!  He has placed us here and we will do our best for HIM!  To God be the glory forever and ever.  Amen!
